Michael Carbajal began his career at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he won many awards for the Agency, such as the Webby Award and Adobe MAX Award. His work at NASA has been featured on CNN.

During his time at NASA, Michael became a member of the Television Academy (Emmys) and served on the Emerging Media Peer Group Committee.

In 2022, Michael founded the first partnership between the Golden Globes and the World Bank. This lead to their inaugural Global Forum, featuring Sharon Stone.
